What are they?
Recurring Updates are a series of a particular Update that you have sent over time. Think of them as a campaign for your stakeholders.
They help create Update repetition through habit-forming nudges aimed to make you more accountable and dependable with your stakeholder reporting.
With Recurring Updates, you will be able to turn an Update into a Recurring Update. Recurring Updates have the following unique features:
- Ability to set a customized schedule for helpful email reminders
- Any charts & data visualization will sync to the recent reporting period
- A send history that shows the historical recurring updates that have been part of the Recurring Updates series
Recurring Updates will live anchored in the sidebar navigation. Once a Recurring Update has been sent, we’ll show you the most recent stats for it. Ready to start your next Update in the series? Just click “Start next update”.
Note: We will never automatically send an Update with you explicitly hitting Send first.
How do you create a Recurring Update?
To create a new Recurring Update simply hit the "+New" in your sidebar. From there, select the "New Recurring Update" option.
How do you rename a Recurring Update?
In the Recurring Update, hit the options "..." button to bring rename your Recurring Update.
Note: this just renames Recurring Update in the sidebar to make it easier to find & for navigation. The title of your Recurring Update will still act as the subject line.
How do you change the schedule of a Recurring Update?
In the Recurring Update, hit the options "..." button and select "Schedule" to make any changes.
How do your stop a Recurring Update?
In the Recurring Update, hit the options "..." button and select "Archive" to stop the Recurring Update. From Archive, you can always bring back any and restore of your Updates.
